Affiliation: Department of Russian and East European Studies, Institute of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague Position: Associate Professor Specialization: security and conflict studies (civil wars and ethnic conflicts; small wars; insurgency and counterinsurgency, etc.); historiography and politics of memory. Regional focus: the Caucasus, Russia, the post-Soviet space, to some extent also Turkey and Iran.
