Biography :
Having gained a First Class degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Birmingham, I am looking for a challenging and dynamic graduate role.
My interests academically include the process of financialisation, macroeconomic management, global political trends and contemporary political economy. I completed my dissertation on the contribution of executive remuneration packages to the global financial crisis of 2007/8.
Aside from academia, I completed an internship at the Bank of England in summer 2016. I also held the position of Politics Editor at The Worldly Magazine (having previously been Online and Social Media Editor) and contribute as a writer on a range of issues. I also held a paid ambassadorial position within my school of teaching at university.
I enjoy spending my spare time keeping up with current affairs, progressing as a musician (personally on the piano and guitar, and within the University Chorus) and cheering on the Sheffield Steelers.
