Research Themes
Studies of the human societies of the Upper Palaeolithic.
Analyzes of the human groups of the Last Maximum Glacial - Geographical area: Paris Basin (Chézy sur Marne, 02), South-East of France.
Epigravetian societies (about 20 000-10 000 BP not cal.): Technical systems, seriation. My work focuses mainly on a characterization of epigravettian human societies, from the Rhone Valley to the Caucasus, especially from the study of lithic productions. The objective is to reconstruct a seriation of this "culture" of the European Upper Palaeolithic on the basis of systemic analyzes. Geographical area: Southeast of France, Northern Italy, Caucasus (Armenia, Georgia).
