Research Interests
- Conservation Genetics & Molecular Ecology
My research focuses on the application of genetics to ecological questions. This includes the distribution of genetic variation across landscapes, the impact of current and historical barriers to gene flow and estimating genetic relatedness and its impact on social systems. Research projects have been based mainly on mammals, including koalas, kangaroos, dugongs, dolphins, giraffe and mongooses, but also on other species, such as the cattle tick.
