Biography :
After being a long time in oil and gas E&P I am back to palaeontology. I have completed my PhD in Micropaleontology and Biostratigraphy in 1996 and Petroleum Exploration and Production master study in 1986 in the world’s oldest Oil Academy of Azerbaijan Republic. I have more than 25 years of industry experience with expertise in regional geology, field geologic studies, structural and stratigraphic evaluation and palaeontology. I have adept knowledge as a exploration geologist in both onshore and offshore exploration and exploratory drilling operations for Caspian regions, Russia and Iraqi Kurdistan (Zagros basin).Throughout my tenure in the industry, I have been associated with multi-disciplinary teams within a multi-cultural setup. I have worked in different kind of reservoir types clastic and carbonate, My core skill sets are focused on, depositional reserve and resource estimation, Sequence and Seismic Interpretation, Well Log correlation/Interpretation, preparation of G&G work programs, and micro paleontological analysis of cores based on Ostracods. My experience has allowed me acute proficiency in handling challenging projects of Kurdistan (Zagros Basin), Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan (South Caspian Basin), Kazakhstan and Russia (North and Middle Caspian), Russia (Volga-Ural and Western Siberia) and Iran (Zagros Basin). I achieved good practical knowledge in the industry and I now refocused palaeontology, stratigraphy and related scientific research.I have unique ostracod fossils collected (personally) from entire Caspian sea’s Quaternary and Pliocene deposits. These fossil forms are not well studied in entire Caspian basin. I collected them while I was working in different companies with respective permissions for research and publication purposes. Currently, i am working of Atlas of ostracods from Pliocene and post-Pliocene sediments of Caspian basin
